Homologues

Homologues are the final remnants of humanity. The First generation of Homologues were the direct downloads of human minds from the digital realm into embodied form. Most come from the Time of Rending, when digital reality was being consumed by the physical realities problems. Second generation homologues were "copies" (clones) and the third generation were called "iterations" (children).

There is a wide range of intelligence and power in this species. Many are mere nuisances (like scavenging racoons), some are intelligent enough to live in communities, and others are fierce and powerful masters of their domains.
